Problems That Arise When Surface Performance Is Insufficient
The surface lacks sufficient resistance to friction, and light contact leaves visible marks that affect the product's appearance.
The coated surface lacks the smooth, lubricious feel associated with a quality finish, affecting the tactile experience of the product.
Coated surfaces may stick together or adhere to adjacent surfaces during stacking or packaging, causing damage on separation.

Why Increasing Resin Hardness Alone Is Not the Full Answer
Some formulations improve scratch resistance by increasing resin hardness. But simply raising hardness may compromise coating flexibility and the overall balance of properties. An ideal surface modification approach needs to improve wear and scratch resistance while maintaining good transparency, tactile feel, and recoatability — giving the coating a more balanced overall performance.
F-2311: Micronized Polymer Wax Powder
F-2311 is a white, micronised polymer wax powder that improves the scratch resistance and surface lubricity of the cured film.
